The tentative title for this song was “Kodowariiyo” but I’m not sure why they decided to change it to this other title. o.O;
“kodawari” is an annoying word to translate because it covers a LOT more context than can be conveyed in single English words. It’s basically to be picky about things or close to obsessed about the way something is done, but generally in a more positive light.

I have to admit I really laughed at how much the music arrangement sounds like it came from the Showa period. I have no doubt in my mind that’s what they were going for, for this song. The Inazuma Eleven story takes from Showa manga in general.
